Privacy Policy
The short version: Blobjar doesn’t collect any data about you. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or trackers. Your settings and progress stay on your iPhone. If you choose to use Game Center, Apple handles your scores under Apple’s own privacy policy.
This policy covers the Blobjar app for iPhone and the alittl.fun website. Blobjar is made by an independent developer at A Little Fun (“I”, “me”).
What stays on your iPhone
Blobjar keeps a few small things on your device so the game remembers where you are. None of it is sent to me or to anyone else.
- Your settings
- Whether Sound and Haptics are on.
- Your progress
- Your best endless score and the biggest blob you made in that run, your best daily score, and a small record of each Daily jar you’ve played (its score, its biggest blob and whether it finished). It also remembers whether you’ve finished a first run, so it knows when to stop showing the “Hold to aim, release to drop” hint.
- A daily attempt in progress
- Which day’s Daily jar you’ve started, so a daily you leave halfway still counts as your one attempt.
- A picture of your latest daily jar
- An image of how your most recent Daily jar ended, so its results can be shown again. Saving a new one deletes the old one.
This data lives in the app’s own storage on your iPhone. It isn’t synced to iCloud by the app. Like the rest of your apps’ data, it’s included in any iCloud or computer backup you make of your iPhone, which Apple or you look after. Deleting Blobjar deletes all of it.
Game Center
Blobjar uses Apple’s Game Center for its two leaderboards, Endless and Daily jar. Game Center is optional: you can play the whole game without signing in.
- When the app opens, iOS may offer to sign you in to Game Center. You can dismiss it.
- If you’re signed in, the app sends the score of each finished run to the matching leaderboard. Other Game Center players can see your score alongside your Game Center nickname, according to your Game Center profile settings.
- To show how your Daily jar compares with everyone else’s (“world median” and “top %”), the app reads your own entry, the number of players and the median score from that day’s leaderboard.
- Your Game Center account, scores and leaderboards are provided and stored by Apple. I don’t run a server and don’t receive your Game Center data. Apple’s handling of it is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.
- You can sign out of Game Center at any time in the iPhone’s Settings app, under Game Center. You can manage or delete the data Apple holds about you at privacy.apple.com.
Sharing your jar
When a run ends you can tap Share. Blobjar draws a picture of your sleeping jar with your score and hands it to the iPhone’s share sheet, with a line of text giving your score and a link to Blobjar on the App Store. Nothing is sent unless you pick somewhere to send it, and where it goes is up to you. The picture and the text carry no name or other information about you.
Photos
If you choose Save Image in the share sheet, iOS asks whether Blobjar may add the picture to your photo library. This permission only lets the app add pictures. Blobjar can’t see, read or change anything already in your photo library. You can change the permission at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos.
What Blobjar doesn’t do
- No accounts or sign-up, other than the optional Game Center.
- No advertising and no advertising identifier.
- No analytics, crash-reporting or other third-party code.
- No tracking across apps or websites.
- No in-app purchases.
- No access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, clipboard or health data.
- No notifications.
- No servers of my own. Apart from Game Center, the app makes no network connections.
Apple gives every developer aggregate App Store statistics, such as download counts, and crash reports from people who chose to share analytics with app developers in their iPhone’s settings. That collection is Apple’s, under Apple’s privacy policy, and doesn’t identify you to me.
Children
Blobjar is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Game Center accounts for children are managed by their parents through Apple’s Family Sharing and Screen Time settings.
Keeping and deleting your data
Because I don’t collect any data, I have nothing about you to show, correct or delete. To remove everything Blobjar keeps on your iPhone, delete the app. To remove your Game Center scores or account data, use Apple’s tools at privacy.apple.com. If you have a question or a request, write to me and I’ll help however I can.

The alittl.fun website has no cookies, analytics or trackers, and everything on it, including the typefaces, comes from the site itself. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which may keep standard access logs, such as IP addresses, under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
If Blobjar’s handling of data changes, I’ll update this page and its effective date before the new version of the app is released, and the App Store’s privacy details for Blobjar will be updated to match.
